Promoting peace, Fighting disease, Providing clean water, Saving mothers and children, Supporting education and Growing local economies. Those are the six focus areas of the Rotary Foundation. The Rotary Foundation transforms our donations gifts into projects that change lives both close to home and around the world. As the charitable arm of Rotary International, the foundation taps into a global network of Rotarians who invest their time, money, and expertise into our priorities, such as eradicating polio and promoting peace. Foundation grants empower Rotarians to approach challenges such as poverty, illiteracy, and malnutrition with sustainable solutions that leave a lasting impact. More than 90 percent of donations go directly to supporting our service projects around the world. As November is Rotary Foundation month, we will be joined by Elwyn Hodges the Foundation Coordinator for District 9620. Elwyn will discuss the Foundation and update us on the latest developments.
